And I really enjoyed watching TV as a kid, as it allowed for early entertainment to both entertain and teach me all at the same time. Sesame Street was a personal favorite as it not only taught fundamentals, but life lessons and humanity as well. Not so much about science, but I still realized how much I enjoy...

The subject, but more specifically chemistry. This discipline teaches and values trying and failure. It builds resilience and determination, something a cartoon can't teach physically. 

It acts as something so versatile allowing each to find their own sub-discipline. One might go through other areas before finding the "right" one, but again chemistry favors the trials and failures before yielding a favorable result.

I've had my fair share of reaction failures, but I am sure that each time I fail, my end product will be more favorable.
